Introducing a national physician-training program designed for the aspiring Phlebologist, who is prepared to initiate or further develop a total Phlebology specialty program in their practice. The program will have a strong emphasis on hands-on training with exposure to proper evaluation and treatment of the patient with venous disorders. The program will allow physicians from around the country to work side-by-side with our team of experts with hands-on training using the proper techniques share the 30 years of accumulated knowledge with our top experts.
Curriculum
A formal curriculum has been designed to meet the needs for education, clinical experience, and patient care in order to provide the most comprehensive training program available. Hands-on training in injection technique, catheter-based technology and endovascular procedures is taught by our leading faculty.
Learning Objectives
After participating in this training program, participants should be able to:

Perform a complete initial consultation and examination

Recommend and perform and interpret the proper diagnostic testing, including duplex ultrasound

Discuss pre- and post-procedural patient management

Recommend and implement an appropriate treatment plan including sclerotherapy, duplex-guided sclerotherapy, and endovenous laser ablation/treatment (EVLA/EVLT)

Understand the nuances of billing and record keeping to maximize reimbursement minimize exposure

Strengthen intra-office marketing skills

Course participants must have sufficient knowledge, skills, and credentials to participate in the course, including:

State medical license and malpractice insurance as an M.D., D.O. or N.P.

Member of the American College of Phlebology, American Venous Forum or American Academy of Cosmetic Physicians or planning on joining
Training Locations & Dates
